How did you get to Telluride? I moved to Telluride “on accident” in March of 2020 when I came to quarantine with my partner (who is now my wife!).  I grew up outside of Denver and can’t believe it took me 27 years to find this magical place.

What’s your astrological sign? Gemini baby!


What brings you the most joy? Moving my body outside in the high alpine, playing music (bonus if it’s also outside), traveling the world with my wife.

Who or what influences your playing style? Mother Nature is my biggest influence, followed by artists like Hermanos Gutierrez and the looping style of Ed Sheeran.

How do you apply practice to your life? I think life is “the practice”. As someone who is constantly moving (I’m a 7 on the enneagram), learning to slow down and embrace the more mundane moments does not come naturally to me. Practicing yoga is a way for me to carve out time for myself and connect with my internal self.

About Aubrey: When not in the box canyon, she is on tour with her band LVDY (pronounced LADY), an indie folk duo. They have played Sheridan Opera House, Club Red, the Transfer Warehouse, and many venues around the world. You can also find her coaching skate camp in the summer or playing solo at Gorrono during the winter months! It is always a gift for her to share music during yoga classes in this sacred space.
